'mbc_03 - early 1930s - NM 23 and banker on wheat train approximately 2½ miles from Quorn – (W.J.Crowe Collection)' 'mbc_04 - 1929 - The first C.R. train to enter Alice Springs (Stuart) NM 22. This was a stock train and arrived before the first Ghan to Alice Springs. W.J.Crowe on headlight (fireman), Jack McPherson (driver) on toolbox. Stock was from "Bonnings" and involved 2 trains.
