NYA Narrow Gauge Brake Van

NYA 24

Former Western Australian Government Railways 36 foot brakevan "Z 24" obtained during WWII. This van was different from the normal "Z" van in that it had platforms at both ends.

Western Australian Government Railway information supplied by Andrew May.

8.1898	Issued to traffic by the Western Australian Government Railways as brakevan C 2070.
1900	Renumbered Z 2070.
9.1941	Renumbered Z 24.
5.1942	Sold to the Commonwealth Railways.
-	Entered service on North Australia Railway.
2.5.1951	On register of North Australia Railway.
