Second class sleeping car built by the Commonwealth Railways Port Augusta Workshops. Cost £7110.
26.6.1920Entered service.
22.8.1958Fitted with a head end 415V by pass, painted, seats lacquered, electric fans fitted.
1.3.1980Written off.
28.7.1981Sold to Steamtown Peterborough.
1989Sold to the City of Port Pirie for display at the station complex.
-Sold to Mr Hackett of Port Pirie in poor condition.
1996Derelict near the car barn Port Pirie.

BR/ARG/NARG 46

Second class sleeping car built by the Commonwealth Railways Port Augusta Workshops. Cost £8296.
23.3.1922Entered service.
12.1949Shower compartment fitted.
28.11.1956Converted to "ARG" a first class standard gauge staggered corridor roomette sleeping car with air conditioning.
27.9.1966Converted to narrow gauge recoded "NARG".
12.1980On last Ghan.
22.5.1982Written off.
5.1987Stored on a private property in the Marree township, seemed to be in good condition.

BR 51 -- WRA 2600

Second class sleeping car built by the Commonwealth Railways Port Augusta Workshops.
15.8.1928Entered service.
6.1949Shower fitted.
12.12.1958Fitted with 415V bypass cables for use on head end trains.
25.5.1973Written off.
13.9.1976Underframe converted to "WRA 2600" for head end rail laying.

20.12.1930Entered service.
16.12.1954Converted to "BRFA", a sleeper with lounge accomodation and air conditioning. Cost £8192.
1.10.1959Resheathed with ¼ inch waterproof plywood and externally painted.
23.3.1961To narrow gauge, recoded "NBRF"
12.1980On last Ghan.
21.9.1981Converted to standard gauge mobile education car, coded "EH".
8.5.1987In use at Port Augusta.
7.4.1995Still on register of in service vehicles.
11.2002Sold to Australian Railway Historical Society (Western Australia).
