Re: Signaller causes SPAD



Yeah, that's OK but when a Line Controller orders a train driver to do
a wrong direction movement of nearly a mile long back to the station in
the rear, that's when it gets scary. All the L/C is relying on is the
diagram of where the trains are and that's not failsafe.

Under proper procedures this is a perfectly safe move because adequate
protection is arranged.
