You have not specified anything specific that DSRM has received, but lets go
through your list.

Can't think of any apart from Bellingen Council aranging the loan for the
land we have purchased. We repaid the loan (at comercial interest rates) and
paid the council a fee.

Nothing in my time with DSRM.

The army did some earthworks for us in th 80s. This actually saved the Army
some money. They were going to do an earthworks exercise anyway, and doing
it for us meant they did not have to restore the area when they were
finished. This exercise covered about 5% of the earthworks we require.

None springs to mind, except the Electricity Commission donating 2408 and
2414.

That depends on the conditions attached to the assistance. If it is for a
specific purpose, then it should be spent for that purpose. I suppose the
Army earthworks could be included here. They offered us earthworks, and we
got earthworks.

If it is without condition, then it is up to the organisation receiving the
assistance to determine how it is to be spent. What would you suggest? A
national referendum?
