thought [after all it was a bombshell dropped, with no consultation or prior
warning.]
73% of those who responded said NO Way!
90% of Wodonga readers also said NO WAY!

after all those of us fortunate to live South of the Border, see first hand,
what thye highest rates collected South of Sydney produces...
Albury is a drab, weary looking city, the roads are pot holed pot holes,
most streets still have dirt edges. Cost of water has stopped most from
looking after their gardens.
I pay about $900 rates a year in West Wodonga, near the Golf Course, Albury
Rates start near $2000, and keep going up.....Amalgamation....No Thanks!
