If a passenger train is delayed or some incident occurs, presumably it is
reported by someone to management. Is there any way for the public to access
those reports, to find out the cause of a particular delay etc, or to find
out what the continuing problems are? I realize that knowing what happened
doesn't change the fact that it happened, but it helps to overcome the sheer
frustration of being a victim and not knowing what hit you.

Perhaps someone in the media could pick up the idea & run with it - it's
been done elsewhere. Something along the lines of "Why your train was late
or didn't turn up". Or a place on the web site that lists incidents -
although I suppose the PR people would consider that too negative!

If enough people find out WHY thing occur, perhaps there is more scope for
pressure to be brought to bear for change.
