I know that.... but there are still more seats provided today than there was
then..

 This was in addition to the North Coast Daylight

Still does more or less.... NT25/26  with double the seats that used to be
provided on the old loco hauled thing

 and the North Coast Mail to Casino.

Please.... these people whinge about an airconditioned XPT... imagine puttin
them back on the old Stringy??
