Flaming in headings - OT (was: Change the name of this thread!)



I never intentionally set out to deride the efforts of the volunteers. I believe
the 'so called' tag is fair and it only criticizes the general attitude of the
societies, not individual volunteers. I think the heading Stuart Thyer chose is a
flame, nothing more, nothing less and it goes too far as I have never set out to
insult him personally. The thing with a heading is that it tends to stick around
for more than one message. Its bad enough if you flame in the contents of a
message, but flaming in the heading is uncalled for.
