The Epping line, heading towards town having boarded with my 
then girlfriend at Thornbury, going over Merri Creek. Some thug in the 
seat behind laid into me from behind for the fun of it, then leapt off 
the train with his mates at the next station and bolted.

But then I always preferred to take the High Street tram... she seemed to 
think the train was faster. I have never used the train on that line 
since.
