So if I was to say that I'd prefer a person from a non English speaking
background to use a DVA rather than making a manual announcement, that would
be ok?

Gee, I wonder why all of the manual announcements on stations I've heard
(and there have been a few) during the circus have been understandable?
Hopefully, the on train announcements will be automated with an overide
facility (to cater for guards who can make good announcements) soon.

How many people were incited rather than excited other this thread?
