Track and Signal...volume 4 #2  page 30...refers to 100 x 70ton Bogies and
3500 hp engines being ordered from US..no new Locos..just  a cascading
repowering program...which would probably resullt in the left over 16-645e's
from the X's...prime prospects for a  rebuild into some other rolling carcase
of a loco...again maybe the ex QR1502's could be a candidate....all hypothesy
of course...but the report on the US bits is there!!...maybe they got it all a
little skew=if!!
