> Yes it did. The W class's brakes completly failed. If they had of worked he would no doubt have been able to stop. If it was a Z class the driver would have applied the track brakes and stoped in even less time. If people want heritage trams let them ride around a park on the week end with the kids in them, they are not fit for service. Are we running a modern tramway service that can get people to work and back or are we running a service for the sentimental tram gunzels?
