Hi there

It appears that V/lines new DMU's are going to be a cross between a British
Class 170 and a NSW explorer, and will be powered by 485kw Cummings
powerplants (Shit accelaration but excellent sustained 100mph / 160kmh
running!!!!). Also Yarra Trams new vehicles are going to be designated C
class with a 3000 number series, Swanston Trams have not comfirmed their
number series but it is likely to go for D class and a 4000 number series.
