Clyde and ADtranz were to jointly design a new suburban train from the
rail up. After the falling out, Goninan reportedly won't go anywhere near
National Express. The latest rumour is Bayside might buy something off the
shelf and have them built in the UK.

I don't know what will happen to the country railcar and Yarra Trams
contracts. Hillside will probably buy from Alstom, and Swanston Trams is
buying from Siemens.
