I think you will find that BHP are quite strict with security breaches 
on their property. Certainly on a recent trip to the Pilbara, all 3 
railraods were very security conscious but were all happy to provide an 
escort to take our party around the workshops/depot/dumpers etc 
(pre-arranged).

There is a nice shot to be had of the BLs from the aforementioned armco 
bridge at Long Island as the train emerges from the Cresco siding. AFAIK 
it is on a "public" road. I certainly got a nice shot there a few weeks 
ago and wasn't hassled.
