Lyndhurst opened with the line on 1 Oct 1888 and closed to passengers possibly on 4
Oct 1981 when the Cranbourne local railmotor service ceased but confirmation is

Your later post says Langwarrin.  Opened 1 Oct 1888, closed 22 Jun 1981.
