The Kalgoorlie to Parkeston section is operated by colour light signalling
controlled by West Kalgoorlie Box, electric staff was used until 1977.
Entrance to the Main Line or Loop at Parkeston is under the Authority of
Train Orders by ARTC.  Westrail actually owns the line from the Starting
signal at Parkeston.

Electric Staff was discontunued in 1953 on the TAR.  It was also used
between Parkes and Broken Hill.
