Well, the "Professional Train Driver" does not know his history. The two-car
sets formed of standard double-deck carriages (as used in S and R sets) were
originally called T-sets - they were renamed L-sets to vacate the T
designation, making it available for Tangarbages (oops, a typo - silly me!)
Other pointless reclassifications are:
Current K sets were R sets
Original K sets were standard cars that had been retrofitted with PA systems.
6 car sets did not have a separate designation.
