One thing about the British magazines, though, you can buy a book called
"Freightmaster" which is a complete guide (with timetables) for all
booked (read compulsory) freight services in Britain. This is published
by the same mob that publishes most of their magazines and enables you
to make sense of what runs. The 'Railfan's Guide to NSW' could have done
this but conveniently fails to let you know when anything is scheduled
to run!
