1-2-3 tickets are an integrated ticket product available for sale from
ALL QR Citytrain stations and TVM's - and from on board Brisbane
Transport Bus services.

1 - meaning 'one way'
2 - meaning valid for two hours (last part of journey must commence
. before second hour is up)
3 - meaning three modes ie train, bus & ferry

$3.60 full fare and $1.80 concession

It is valid for travel only within the Brisbane City Council area. If
you found it at the Gold Coast - from Carseldine, it was probably sold
on board a CityTrans Integrated Bus/ Rail service. Obviously it wasn't
pointed out to the purchaser that it was valid only to Kuraby on the
Beenleigh Line.

CityTrans apparently sells heaps of them to students travelling to
Northpoint TAFE at Bracken Ridge from Citytrain Stations.

Most BT bus drivers refer to them as "2 hr transfers" - most probably
wouldn't know they are call 1-2-3's.

CityTrans has introduced 10 trip integrated rail/bus tickets and fully
integrated off-peak return tickets.

CityTRans operates around 55 services daily in each of it's four
suburban areas and offers seamless SERVICE and ticket integration.

Whilst Queensland Transport oversees ALL public transport operations
in Queensland - CityTrans is a joint venture between QR and Brisbane
City Council to actually make service and ticket integration a reality
for now.

CityTrans has some info on the TransInfo website -
www.transinfo.qld.gov.au

Hope that helps
