There *is* a Barry Point just south of Barry Beach (NOT Barry's
Beach).

The line branched off at Agnes,  18km east of Foster, 4km west of
Welshpool and approx 40km short of Yarram.  IIRC, the line was built
at the time the large Bass Strait oil and gas fields were being
developed and enabled the movement of most of the building materials
for the platforms and pipework.
