>Dean, I was wondering the same thing, so I have contacted the Qld ARHS. In particular, the editors of the "Sunshine Express" magazine, Paul de Sauty and John Kerr, raising some issues, some of which I have outlined above. It isn't possible to attach the cars to the "Spirit of the Outback" as it runs on the wrong day out of Brisbane. The Yaraka loading leaves on a Wednesday. I feel that rail fan groups should try and work in with the freight train operators, and se if they will haul a few cars on any given freight service. Another idea I have is putting a car or two on some of the very regular trains on lines such as Muswellbrook-Unlan and the Central Queensland coal lines. Perhaps as a "tour" by the coal companies, themselves. In Victoria, what about the many non-passenger lines that still have a regular freight service? Sure, the train may be "subject to delay", but it would seem posible to work something out. In particular, during a school holiday period, when some fans may!
 be able to travel.
