As William said, what about Freight Australia's effort with log traffic?!
The have actually RE-OPENED a formerly closed line and started winning back
very large amounts of log traffic off road!! They also have plans to re-open
another closed stretch of line for the same purpose!
I think that, rather than decreasing, smart private companies are actually
increasing the share of rail freight, as is in their best interests.
