That won't be a problem....most of the locals I talked to travels to
Melbourne very frequently, or to Sherpparton for shopping/movies very often.

Buses are't very comfortable(stiff seats and seat belts), takes a long time
where as trains are specious can comfortable, would be very attractive to
passengers. Let Sydney XPT stops at Seymore with connection from Goulburn
Valley towns would help out  loading for Sydney XPT (which recently loss
some passengers to cut price airlines)

I found an article from Railway Gazette, the CEO of FA asked RSA to reopen
all the lines north of Tocuwmal or it will buy those lines! FA is getting
more ambitious then ever.....
