Tocumwal(V/NSW) and Goulburn Valley

Tocumwal station is in fair condition, locals wantee to restore the station
in to a museum but the station needs a fair amount of money to upgrade.

Tocumwal has go a big silo and RT engine few km north of the station. The
famous bridge is very beautiful at night with Xmas light arranged in word
<Tocumwal>. The local said bridge can be lift up and was lifted for 100
years anniversary 5 years ago.

The station is in fair condition. NSW side over grown with weeds. One of the
major attraction in this town is the model railway exhibition adjecent to
the station.
Strathmerton-Tocumwal section looked like been use very often.

Cobram station is very small and currently occupy by a gallery, station is
in fair condition and would need little work for restoration of passenger
service, the rail track between Cobram and Strathmerton is some what
overgrown.

Sherpparton-Seymore stretch is in fine condition but can't reach as high
speed as Seymore-Broadmeadow stretch....cars on paralle highway easily over
took us.

Toolamba-Echuca line looked somewhat overgrown.

Hoys coach is soooo uncomfortable, worst then Tangara seating, plus the
driver kept speeding(120k at 70k zone) on top of that the bloody seat belt
made the trip very uncomfortable. Despite all the speeding we still got to
Cobram 10 minutes late. Bring back the train please:-)

Despite Tocumwal is a small distance away from Cobram, coach service through
the town at rather inconvinent hours everyday made town folks either drive
to Cobram or drive all the way to Melbourne.

Cheers
James
