Well, if you write your SSI codes like that in Brisbane, you might just
have a few problems. The use of flashing yellow in Brisbane is NOTHING
like the use in Britain - on QR it is more or less the equivalent of a
NSW low speed for restricted overlap conditions (except that the
permitted speed is faster), whereas in the UK it is an indication of an
approach-cleared junction signal ahead. And QR has no use for flashing
double yellows, which in the UK situation are an advance warning of a
flashing single yellow; presumably all QR flashing yellows are preceded
by a steady single yellow.
