It's done everywhere else, why can't it be done in Sydney? Fair enough to 
have 'little problems' occasionally, but as someone stated in another 
thread 'the misguiding of the train was a little problem because it wasn't 
life threatening' or something along those lines, im shocked to hear that 
statement. So suddenly derailments because the driver overshot 3ft is not a 
little problem any more because it didn't threaten anyones life?

As we are all trying to explain to you Neil, these 'little problems' mostly 
happen in NSW. I urge you to look at Melbourne one day. Stand at Flinders 
Street station and watch how most trains operate on a day to day basis, or 
try an underground station, or Richmond. Trains run much more regularly 
than 10 minutes in some of the loops, do we have the operational problems 
that NSW do? I think not.
