Exactly, the tram line would be difficult to construct. Throguh mall,
trees and very busy Station Street.

Wow! Talk about history repeating!  and route 48 could extend along
Doncaster road to serve Doncater/Doncaster North region.

I think Balwyn and Kew people would better off take trains from
Camberwell or Glenferrie rather then go all the way to Box Hill.
However if an extension from Box Hill to Doncaster via Station
Street/Tram road would benifit people in Box Hill/Doncaster region. Box
Hill region is currently served by very unreliable Ventura/National
Bus, drivers unfriendly,slow and infrequent bus service.
