Yes but you Poms weren't as British as us<g>.

I know this is getting off subject, but when I was a lad, (that was a while
ago), we emergrated from Birmingham to Melbourne in 1953 and my mother used
to laugh when she heard 3rd and 4th generation Australians talk about taking
a trip "HOME" when they retired. I've heard it said, that Long Service Leave
was introduced in Australia so that people could take a trip home to England
during their life time.

Times have changed since then in these colonies<g>
