After the futile strike action I have absolutely no compassion for the dickhead
strikers.

In fact, the SRA has lost a customer in me. Without the trains, I did a little
research and discovered that by walking 700m to another bus stop, I can get a
bus directly to where I usually want to go. Cheaper than my old bus/rail
method, too.

There is no reason at all that the SRA should make a profit. It is just that it
should not lose so much money. Is it fair that someone living in the bush has
to subsidise city rail travellers?

After the Olympics, the State government is going to privatise the railways.
Private enterprise will show that it is possible to make a profit without losing
customers.
