Re: Victorian Railways mapping resource



I agree. It helps if you know the name of a nearby road. I used the
on-line White Pages to search for any business containing Pyramid in
Pyramid Hill - found lots.

Set the drop-down box in the top left corner to 'address'
Click 'setsearch'
In the first box enter a street name, skip the middle box and put
'Pyramid Hill' in the third box
Click the 'Go to Street' button
In the Matching Roads frame click on the name of the road. The map is
drawn.

Current location can be found in two ways.

Click on the 'i' radio button and then click on the map. The right frame
will display property/parcel details plus a map of the property.

If you click on the 'W' button and then on the map you get grid
coordinates, latitude & longitude.
