CityRail services for NRL finals at Olympic Park

This Sunday, St. George/Illawarra will be playing Cronulla at Stadium
Australia. For those not familiar with the NRL and/or Sydney, St. George and
Illawarra football teams merged at the end of last year, with the St. George
team being based in the Rockdale/Kogarah area, and Illawarra at Wollongong.

CityRail are planning on running their normal Olympic Park service for this
game - trains running from Central to Olympic Park and then continuing on to
Blacktown.

Given that the two competing teams are all located on the same rail line -
Illawarra line and the South Coast line, why hasn't anyone at CityRail
bothered to run a few trains from Wollongong and Cronulla, via the goods
line through Enfield, direct to Olympic Park?

Instead, football fans will have to transfer at either Central or Redfern -
NOT a case of good planning. Of course, they cannot run direct services from
everywhere for every event, but surely this is a special case.
