There has been some rumblings on and off about extending the suburban network 
south to Greenbank by dual guaging and electrifying the existing SG line.
This picks up Algester as well.
Seems that the suburbs are slowly growing down in the direction of Beaudesert
where eventually you might want to terminate the suburban service.
Wouldnt be hard to do, just need a couple of new stations being built.
QR are certainly the most progressive rail system in the country and a 
takeover of NRC or Westrail by QR would be a good move for Rail in total.
