Wrong:
When a distant was on the same post as a home signal, the distant was
worked by the box in advance and the home worked by the box in the rear.

The distant signal by day is a red fish tail arm signal. At night it
would show a red light for caution and a green light for proceed.
At anytime that the home is at the danger position then the signal can
not be passed at the stop position.. Kel has got the right aspects
showing, but:
R/R was stop
G/R was home signal at proceed, but the distant signal at caution.
Proceed at normal speed to the next fixed signal which could be at the
stop position.
G/G means both home signal and distant signal are off. Proceed at normal
speed, all signals through the next block station are also at proceed.
