P class = 100 km/h, 1000hp.
A class = 115km/h, 2500hp.

A P couldn't maintain an A class timetable.
I would not be surprised (dissapointed but not surprised) if VLPs
owners decide to get rid of both the 8 P class and the 4 A class asap.
12 two person locos in a fleet that has 25 one person locos and 21 one
person railmotors seems to mean that they will always be oddballs (or
is that me?).

I guess you could just about DOO a P (short end only) but the A will
two person forever methinks.

I suppose it will edpend on whether VLPs owners run a bare minimum
service or seek some expansion (perish the thought).

Just another eccentric crank.
