Re: Channel 9 Exclusive Access Rights to Glenbrook Rail Tragedy Site???

Ah, isn't the internet a marvellous invention.

For what it's worth, Paddy, the first word I used in my comment was
the word "if" - nor did I name any particular television station or
network.

However, I repeat, if it can be proven that emergency services were
prevented from accessing a crash site due to the requirements of one
media organisation (and that needn't be the Glenbrook crash site nor
the Nine Network), then the parties who decided that media coverage
has priority over a rescue/recovery operation deserve to be censured.
I very much doubt that any political organisation would ever be in a
position to make that decision.

To argue that the Australian Labor Party, the Liberal Party of
Australia, the Australian Democrats or even the "Abolish The Family
Court Because They Are All Bastards In There Party" would even be
anywhere near being responsible for making the decision to prevent
emergency equipment from accessing a crash site is to regard those
unfortunate to read your argument as if they are idiots.

So, Paddy, before you get on your high-horse and start flinging the
personal abuse hell-west and crooked, I'd suggest that you go away,
make yourself a nice cup of tea, and think about what you're going to
type before typing your words.
