Re-nationalisation of Rail in Britain?

Anyone following the scene in Britain would be aware that privatisation has
not gone smoothly, with a number of services deteriorating rather than
improving.  The trains may be more colourful, but the gloss may be
superficial.  Now the UK Parliament is considering legislation which could
lead to creeping re-nationalisation of the rail network, according to an
