Badgerys creek rumblings.

Heard on the ABC news this morning that Vic politicians are starting to 
agitate about the cost of Badgerys Creek Airport,(now up to $7 B) and are 
arguing that a VFT from Sydney to Melb would releive the load from Sydney 
Airport sufficiently to not require the 2nd airport to be built.
Whilst none of this is new , its amazing that the pollies are just starting to 
realise it.
$7B would come fairly close to being enuf to build a single line VFT from 
Sydney to Melb via Canberra & Albury - Wodonga,but of course as its a rail 
project it has to be built and financed by the private sector .
Nothing wrong at all in blowing $7B of taxpayers money on another airport.
