That would be a nice rationalisation of it, but if that was the case then the
map still fails because amongst others it does NOT show the following closed
lines, some of which are more recently closed than some of the ones shown:

Tallarook-Mansfield
Morwell-Mirboo North
Hamilton to Coleraine
Branxholme-Casterton
Hamilton - East Natimuk
Lubeck-Bolangum
Wedderburn Junc - Wedderburn
Koroit - Port Fairy
Heathcote Junc - Heathcote - Bendigo
Castlemaine-Maldon-Shelbourne South (partly re-opened)
Lilydale - Warburton
Emerald-Gembrook (also now open)
Camberdown - Timboon
Terang - Mortlake
and numerous others.

Its a bit of a dogs breakfast really.
