I've only been on *1* express move through Clifton Hill (that was behind K153),
it used the platform road.  I photographed the APM train in the centre road
some years back, have never seen another train in there, BUT from a recent
circular for football specials, my understanding was that a standby train was
placed in the centre road, it could run to Jolimont when required for footy
traffic.  Perhaps this is standard practice??
