The on-train vandalism isn't as bad today as the 1970's and 80's when you
could tell which sets were parked at Campelltown, Lavender Bay or
Blacktown over the weekend by the level of spray-paint.
Single-deck sets especially used to be a favourite, many cars being
covered from floor to ceiling. And thankfully seat-slashing and seat
cushions thrown from trains isn't the common occurence it once was a
decade ago.
Just shows there's nothing new under the sun....
