I have seen DL class in traffic with NR recently but this was an NR
painted loco.

The one's at islington are all green and gold.

"Catchpoint" also mentions DL's on the private operator trains west of
Adelaide. Perhaps they are surplus to NR requirements. After all
NR shunt GSR's Keswick terminal with NR class and there are always at
least
2 NR at Keswick.

Is this a case of a "dog in the manger" approach by NR - the EL class
is in storage because NR said it wanted them then didn't take them so
they were not included in the sale to ASR. Is history repeating itself
with the DL's????
