NO, but do you recall what the primary object of this
High Speed Gas Turbine powered, Melbourne to Darwin
Railway was, ....FREIGHT.  Hardly conventional.!
 
Perhaps you would like to rattle off all the overseas
300 Kph freight lines with gas turbine locos.
