Re: Plastic Metcard Weekly Ticket

: It seems odd. The only "plastic" MetCards to be issued (the last I
: heard) were the proximity cards for Yearly users, and disabled users.
: All other tickets were supposedly to be of the current paper type. I
: agree with you on the bending aspects, which is why I'm only buying
: weeklies instead of monthlies - I dont trust 'em for that long.

When the system is FULLY on you will be able to apply for a Metcard
Xpress and that will be your ticket. You will be able to top it up
at stations (large machines) The only reason we don't have it yet
is with out a validator there is no way of telling what ticket, what
type etc it is. We are still waiting on people like National Bus to
install machines.

Then No more lost tickets for me.

Hands Free contactless tickets. I can't wait.
