But is it illegible?  It might be to him but what if the
machine says "Valid till 30/7/98"?

I will just highlite a point of reg 206:
 "... a ticket which requires machine validation ..."

Does my *valid* ticket require machine validation?

Well apart from yearly tickets and student passes everyone
has Metcard. (apart from National Bus)

I was told by someone at Onelink that if I wanted a Yearly
ticket I would get a Metcard Xpress.  Is this ture? and when
will other regular users get Metcard Xpress?
