Next time, lock the gate behind the back of the engine shed, to prevent
vehicles being driven in and using their headlights to light up the
scene.  IMHO, there are few greater challenges for the photographer than
photography after dark with the only real source of light your own flash
(plus those of others getting a similar shot).  Use your skill to make a
great shot, don't ruin it by bringing in other artificial light
sources.  Night photography should be just that, shine your headlights
on the train and it becomes day photography!

How about a 'bona' working, either the flat-top-T or a steam loco plus Z
van?
