Steamfreight 98

G'day,

have just returned from a sensational weekend of branch line 'gunzeling'
on the CMR's Steamfreight 98.

What a weekend!  Mixed trains, goods trains, maybe the best was the
little one - K160 with a couple of 4 wheelers and Z van quietly sitting
in Muckleford no. 2 road.....was just like nearly any branch line
station in Victoria from the 40's to 60's.  Superb listening stop on
Saturday night too.

The weekend was a credit to the CMR and it's members, and gave many the
chance to witness first hand what it like across Victoria in the day of
branch lines and steam haulage.  

Full marks to CMR, next year will be a must see!
