Woops,, Hey hold on there Neddy, thats my job your talking about there!
Bandianna is well and Truly open, and sees a return train each day
Mon-Fri.
The Broad Gauge is still connected but only to the Kiewa Valley Highway.
Access to the yard was terminated when the daily Uncle Bens Goods
and the Inland Port of Bandianna's train[CRT] were combined as one S.G.
train.
This train is made up in the Coal Siding at Wodonga, when the 11.00
Bandianna Pilot returns with containers about midday. This
SuperFreighter is the only Train left on the SG for Victorian or V/Line
Freight crews to run.
The loss of this train would without doubt close
Wodonga down, and finish any chance the new owners will have to spread
out into Southern New South Wales, left trainless by Freight Rail when
they withdrew to Coutamundra.[apart from the NARCS of course]
