The 1977-series DDIU cars (DCM/DCT cars) were built as 2 car sets - driving
motor/driving trailer - and were often run as six or eight-car sets, i.e. 3
or 4 units. It is sometimes possible to see this with SillyRail 'L' sets,
although is very rare.
